Queen Mother Café
The Queen Mum as the restaurant is affectionately known by its many regulars, has been serving global comfort food since October 1978.
STATUS:After a three month hiatus the Queen Mother Cafe is back with your favourite dishes.
We have made access to our beautiful licensed back garden patio hassle free, direct and from the outside (no need to go through the restaurant). You enter off the lane north of Queen St.
We have additional outdoor seating on our boulevard patio at the front on Queen West.
For those wishing to sit indoors we are fortunate to have our interior divided into 3 separate and distinct bays. We have placed dividers and created distances within each to make for a comfortable, enjoyable and safe experience.
We are dedicated to keeping staff and customers safe. We recommend bringing a mask should you need to visit the washroom area.

We have launched our Takeout Service, called Queen Mother T’Go with wine and beer and non alcoholic beverages available for takeout.
We have pickup and delivery (Ritual, Skip the Dishes, Uber Eats and Doordash). We encourage customers to order from us directly for pickup to ease third party delivery costs. We understand that this isn’t possible for everyone and welcome all patronage in whatever form.
